Enron, Worldcom, Bernie Madoff — the last decade has brought us a long parade of headlines involving unethical behavior. And that’s led researchers to a disturbing conclusion: The vast majority of us are not only capable of behaving in profoundly unethical ways, but, without realizing it, we do it all the time. Exhibit A: The story of Toby Groves.
The Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him the most;
he said, “Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.”.

Another one of these f**kers
For those havent seen this…..I mean they way FF screwed gilmartin just goes to show the kind of standards they kept as they ‘ran’ our country
Its all over now bar the shouting…
Well, after 15 years it all came to an abrubt end. As Joe Duffy (A stalwart sounding board of the Nations opinion) pointed out that the Mahon Tribunal cost 90 grand a page, but at least it’s official…… the state now recognises something that only ever existed as a soundbite in pubs and bars up and down the country. Fianna Fail are nothing but a shower of corrupt, grubby, greasy till merchants. The soldiers of destiny eh? what a joke. Destined to run this country into the ground. Commentators have been saying that the rot set in when C.J became taoiseach in 1979, but of course he was a cabinet minister for years before that, and sure Dev himself trousered a couple of million in this fund raising efforts during the war of Independence. That was what set up the Irish Press and his own familys future for several decades. There was a whole lot of ‘em, Bertie, Albert, Charlie, and then their lieutenants, Rambo Burke, Lawlor …. pee flynn (note the deliberate use of lower case letters there) Sean Doherty for f**k’s sake, nothing but a shower of crooks. and don’t think continuity Fianna Fail will be any better (or the shinners for that matter, if they ever seize the reins of power). Its the republican ideology in the hands of small men, who actually believe that they, through their party organ are the true custodians of the Irish nation, thats the problem; that somehow the republican movement to which they belong, and Ireland are one and the same thing. What will it take to have a proper class based political system in this country?
